This is a full time post, however applications from practitioners who wish to contract for a reduced number of planned activities, or on a job share basis are welcome.
This is a 10 programmed activities job plan.
The post holder will regularly perform clinical diagnosis, treatment and care for patients, both new and re-attendances, covering the full spectrum of clinical presentations.
Assist in the provision of care in the event of a major incident.
The post holder will be expected to take part in continuing professional development within the guidelines set by the General Medical Council and the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. To facilitate this, protected time will be provided.
The post-holder will be expected to attend / participate in ‘rolling’ medical audit meetings, and be involved in regional audits.
