Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and IVF
Applications are invited for a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and IVF at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH).
Cambridge IVF is recruiting an additional Consultant because of the unprecedented growth in the service. The majority of the work will comprise informal discussions with patients prior to treatment, consultations and diagnosis, oocyte collections and embryo transfers. A principal area of
focus will be on training nursing staff to carry out routine procedures and consultations.
Cambridge IVF has the aim of achieving outcomes that are equivalent to the best internationally.
Applicants will need current or very recent experience of performing the clinical procedures required for assisted conception to a high standard. The consultant appointed will be expected to identify areas where the service could make changes that may improve outcomes and may be asked by the
Clinical Lead to take the leadership role on areas selected as priorities.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Gynaecology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
