Oncology SpR Doctor/Clinical Fellow in Oncology
(Inpatients & Outpatients)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Oncology SpR Doctor/Clinical Fellow to join our state-of-the-art, award winning Cancer Centre located at The London Clinic’s Duchess of Devonshire Wing in Central London.
The Oncology Clinical Fellow will help us treat thousands of patients using cutting-edge technology and a progressive approach to care. You will be responsible for the clinical care and supervision of Oncology inpatients and outpatients (Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy) in conjunction with the Consultants and multidisciplinary team.
Work closely with the Consultants and nursing staff to support patient treatments and management of symptom control, and acute oncological conditions. You will participate on daily ward rounds and unit meetings, as well as attend to emergencies in the absence of the admitting Consultant.
Skills & Experience
- Full GMC Registration with License to Practice
- MBBS Degree or equivalent, and an MRCP or equivalent is desirable
- Evidence of specialist training in Medical and/or Surgical Oncology at ST3 and above
- Effective communication and clinical decision making skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with patients, colleagues and consultants
- Highly self-motivated, confident, articulate, diplomatic and tactful.
This is a full-time, permanent position. However we will consider one-year fixed term contract with the opportunity to extend annually.
Flexible options of covering days only, nights only or mixed shift pattern (37.5 or 40 hour per week options) is also available.
