Consultant Radiologist

2 posts: 10 PA Muskculo skeletal Imaging / 10 PA Breast & speciality interest

Comprising of Northwick Park, St Marks, Central Middlesex and Ealing hospitals

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & highly motivated Consultant Radiologist to join our friendly busy team of consultants, specialty doctors, radiology trainees and a large multidisciplinary team working collaboratively across the 3 sites to provide high quality imaging service putting patients at the heart of everything we do.

The post holder will work as part of a team of consultants providing a high quality service across all 3 Trust sites. The post holder will support and work closely with the leads for MSK & Breast with scope to develop subspecialty interest ensure the team is able to continue to provide and develop an outstanding specialty service.

Established on 1st October 2014, London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest integrated NHS Trusts in the country employing more than 8,000 staff with a budget of more than £640 million a year. The Trust is the first Trust of its kind to provide complete hospital-based and community healthcare services to a combined population of 850,000 in the boroughs of Brent, Harrow and Ealing.

The post holder will provide specialist support to clinicians and also contribute to the general departmental workload and teaching of the Radiology registrars. Appropriate experience will be required to deliver the specialist service and support general ultrasound, MRI and CT reporting.

The department actively supports Clinical Governance, audits and research and leads on innovation.
