This Substantive post is a replacement post and you will join colleagues in a very dynamic and forward looking Multi Disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The post will be a 10 session post with 6 sessions allocated to the generic S-CAMHS service in Ceredigion and the remaining 4 sessions will be based in Carmarthen to provide consultant time to the HB wide Early Intervention Psychosis Service, including one session allocated to provide a Medical Clinical Lead session for the HB wide EIP Service. In addition to the 10 sessions the successful applicant will also be considered for an additional session to deliver an in reach session as part of a commissioned service at a Secure Children’s Home that is reviewed on an annual basis. The Consultant will be supported in delivering the in reach session by the MDT at the Secure Children’s Home and dedicated sessional time by an S-CAMHS Clinical Psychologist and CPN. The S-CAMHS is part of the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Directorate and there has been a significant investment in enhancing existing provision and developing new services across the HDUHB over the last 18 months.
