Trust Doctor in General Surgery (FY1)
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Foundation Year 1 Trust Doctor in our General Surgery department within the Surgical Division for East Kent Hospitals.

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT) is one of the largest hospital trusts in UK serving a population of 750,000. University status was gained in August 2008, reflecting our training provision for doctors and in particular, our undergraduate medical students.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic General Surgery team. It is a 4 months fixed term contract until 06/08/2019 to cover deanery gap.
You will be participating in the day-to-day provision of routine and emergency surgical care appropriate to your level of training on the wards, in theatre and in clinics. A weekly timetable ensures a mix of duties to develop your experience and further your surgical knowledge. You will be required to keep accurate notes that are dated, legible and signed, undertake VT Assessment and EDN as required.
You will also be responsible for the care and day-to-day clinical management of inpatients of the Consultant for whom you are working.
