We currently have the following Consultant posts (Pay Scale: £77,913 - £105,042) on offer within Old Age Psychiatry:

1wte In-Patient Old Age Psychiatry – Ferndale Ward, St Michael’s, Warwick

The post holder will provide dedicated consultant input into in-patient facility for frequent and flexible review of patients and timely discharge in liaison with Crisis / Home treatment services and Community IPU’s. The post-holder will share the clinical leadership for 21 functional older adult beds and will primarily provide medical care for functional and organic old age patients.

We believe that high quality consultant appointments are key to providing quality services and ensuring senior clinical leadership. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, forward thinking individuals who can work within the Trust and with partners to develop a dynamic, responsive and patient centered service.

Each post is based on a 10 PA job plan.

You will be a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, or have an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry, have full GMC Registration, eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register in psychiatry (or a Specialty Trainee within 6 months of completing CCT), Approved clinician status under the Mental Health Act and a minimum of 6 years postgraduate experience in Psychiatry including substantial training / experience in General Adult Psychiatry or Old Age Psychiatry (dependent upon post).

Must have an appropriate means of independent transport commensurate with the travelling required to fulfill the role
