We currently have the following Consultant posts (Pay Scale: £77,913 - £105,042) on offer within Old Age Psychiatry:

1wte Community Old Age Psychiatry (IPU 3-8 & IPU 18-21) – Cape Road, Warwick

The post holder will provide dedicated consultant input into community care and treatment, with the facility for assessment of referred patients, flexible review of complex patients and timely discharge in liaison with General Practitioners. The post holder will provide clinical leadership to two integrated practice units (IPU 3-8 & IPU 18-21) which provide specialist mental health services for patients presenting with organic and functional problems.

We believe that high quality consultant appointments are key to providing quality services and ensuring senior clinical leadership. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, forward thinking individuals who can work within the Trust and with partners to develop a dynamic, responsive and patient centered service.

Each post is based on a 10 PA job plan.

You will be a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, or have an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry, have full GMC Registration, eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register in psychiatry (or a Specialty Trainee within 6 months of completing CCT), Approved clinician status under the Mental Health Act and a minimum of 6 years postgraduate experience in Psychiatry including substantial training / experience in General Adult Psychiatry or Old Age Psychiary (dependent upon post).

Must have an appropriate means of independent transport commensurate with the travelling required to fulfil the role
