This post has arisen as a result of retirement. It is an opportunity for a passionate applicant to join Teesside CYPS - an established team of 8 friendly and supportive consultants, a Speciality Doctor and Higher Speciality Trainees; there are also tier 4 consultant colleagues. The psychiatrists offer monthly peer supervision, case based discussion group and business meeting. We rated extremely well in the NHS National benchmarking report (2018) on CAMHS services. Tees CYPS has embedded CYP-IAPT, a 24/7 CAMHS crisis/liaison service, young person centred care pathways, strong transition arrangements with AMHS, embraces quality improvement, and also benefits from a commitment from local commissioners who have supported investment in our services over the last few years.
