Specialism in Neuro-development Disorders (Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Autism) 10 Programmed Activities per week
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Consultant to take on a full-time clinical leadership role within our Adult Community Learning Disability Service. You must be comfortable working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, be flexible in approach and display exceptional communication, diplomacy and negotiating skills.
You’ll be working primarily with adults 18+ with mild, moderate to profound learning disabilities to manage co-morbid mental illness and challenging behaviours. You will also have shared input into our Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessment, diagnosis and treatment service, and our autism assessment and diagnosis service.
We are also undergoing an exciting period of transformation to integrate with Adult Social Care; it is hoped that the integration will improve collaborative working between services to provide exceptional, high quality care to individuals who are living with a Learning Disability, ADHD or Autism.
