St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the leading acute Trusts in the North West of England. We provide a full range of acute adult services to our local population of circa 350,000 and provide tertiary services across a much wider area in the North West, North Wales and Isle of Man. We are a Major Trauma Unit and the Mersey Regional Burns Unit.
Our '5 Star Patient Care' strategy is at the heart of all that we do; supporting our vision to provide world class services for all our patients by getting it right for every patient, every time.
Applicants are invited to apply for the role of Clinical Fellow post SHO Level in Plastic Surgery from April 2019.
Previous candidates have found the job very useful to increase their experience in plastic surgery, which has helped them in their applications for ST3 level posts.
The Trust’s new hospitals in Whiston and St Helens opened in March 2010 and 2008 respectively. Both are part of a significant investment programme to provide world class healthcare facilities to the local community.
The Trust has excellent management, robust systems and innovative processes all of which have underpinned a period of sustained and improved performance as it moves towards Foundation Trust status.
The Trust will now build on this platform, developing and expanding its services and driving the quality of patient care ever higher, ensuring that it has a healthy long term future and continues to thrive in the changing healthcare economy. At the heart of its current success and forward planning is the delivery of the ‘5 Star Patient Care’ strategy, defining how the Trust provides an excellent experience for every patient, every time.
