Ophthalmology is a rapidly growing area of focus for Roche, and with a strong pipeline of products in development, we are creating an opportunity for a talented individual, capable of strategic and innovative thinking, to join our successful team. As a consequence we are expanding our global ophthalmology clinical development team, and we are looking to fill the position of Clinical Director, a role in the global Product Development function, to be based in the Roche UK office in Welwyn Garden City.

What we are looking for :

  • Medical doctor with relevant clinical experience in ophthalmology
  • An understanding of Phase II – III drug development
  • Ability to work successfully with remote teams
  • Experience authoring and publishing papers in a peer-reviewed journal
  • Experience with clinical trials would be an advantage
