The busy, vibrant and cohesive Cardiology department at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHSFT is currently looking to recruit two Consultant Interventional Cardiologists to join our existing team of 25 Consultant Cardiologists. The South Yorkshire Cardiothoracic Unit is the Regional Centre for Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery. The Department provides a comprehensive range of services for the secondary care population of Sheffield (0.53 million) and the tertiary population of South Yorkshire/North Trent (1.8 million). We are looking for suitably experienced individuals who can actively contribute to the development of our Interventional Cardiology service. The service is undergoing expansion to address demand and address the frequency of a busy primary PCI rota.
