Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham Perinatal Mental Health Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist, to join the Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham Perinatal Mental Health Service at West London Mental Health NHS Trust. The position will be based at the St Bernard’s Hospital site, in Southall where our Ealing Perinatal Mental Health Team is based, but will work across a number of sites. This is an 8-10 PA post TBC.
We are keen to receive applications from highly skilled, motivated, enthusiastic consultants or trainees who have recently completed (or are about to complete) CCT and would like to develop a career in Perinatal Psychiatry. Experience of training and/or working in a perinatal mental health service is preferable, but applicants who have attended the RCPsych Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist training course or who have other relevant experience will be considered. You must be committed to promoting patient focused care and treatment, to working in partnership with professionals, women and families and to developing a high quality perinatal mental health service with excellent outcomes for women and families.
You will be supported in all aspects of your role by the Perinatal Clinical Lead and Service Manager. There is ample peer support available through the liaison and perinatal consultant body.

The Ealing post will be either 8 or 10PAs and this will be confirmed prior
to the interview date. If the post is 8PAs there will potentially be other
opportunities for additional sessions, in Liaison Psychiatry or elsewhere
depending on the post holder’s skills and preferences.

The salary range for this post is £76,761 to £103,490 per annum plus
