The role of Medical Lead for I&I Medical Affairs offers you an opportunity to deliver high level medical and scientific expertise to both internal and external stakeholders to consolidate and evolve Pfizer I&I scientific leadership. Additionally, this role will give you the chance to manage a team and develop direct reports, and to work collaboratively. You will have a leading role within the local I&I cross functional team as well as with other Business Units and form partnerships with Field Force Colleagues.
Furthermore, as a Medical Lead you will be accountable for ensuring compliance with scientific, regulatory, and ethical standards for all Pfizer activities, and will be expected to provide support for local inspections and audits. In additional, this opportunity will provide you with an environment to acquire quality process and procedures knowledge in order to ensure the implementation of the Country Quality plan under the MQOM guidance.
The role is based in Tel Aviv, with requirements to travel within country (an average of 50% internal customer facing) as well as abroad (for up to 20% of international travel time). EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
The Medical Lead role requires a medical degree and proven Medical Affairs experience in a multi-national pharmaceutical company. A business degree (MBA) is a plus for this role. Technical and managerial skills, such as excellent verbal and written communication and keen analytical skills with a good attention for detail are important for this role.
Additionally, a high level of proficiency in both the local country language and English (written and spoken) is required.
