The Team: What we do
The Department of Vascular Endovascular and Transplant Surgery (V.E.T.S) provides the secondary vascular and endovascular services for the population of Canterbury and the West Coast, and tertiary services for complex endovascular surgery and transplant for the whole South Island.
The Role: Where you fit it
We are looking for a Senior Registrar or Junior Consultant who is seeking a role specifically designed to provide them with continued intensive clinical experiences and training in Vascular Surgery.
Service provision is advanced, combining general vascular surgery for the regional population with complex endografts and complex open reconstructive procedures performed regularly on the more diverse population of South Island
The successful candidate is required to have:
- Qualifications recognized for specialist registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
- FRCS or equivalent
- Experience in vascular surgery is essential
