Out-of-Hours, Urgent and Ambulatory Care Service, Oxford
Salary: £90,000 to £115,000 pa pro rata /Sessional
£73-105 p/h Permanent
The Urgent and Ambulatory Care Service in Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has positions available, whether via a substantive or flexible contract for experienced GPs to work within the Out-of-Hours service (OoHs).
We are looking for a proactive, dedicated, dynamic individual with a passion for delivering timely, safe and excellent patient care and who values working in a “can-do” team culture where staff are supported and developed.
The role includes managing an Out of Hours case load, dealing with a wide range of presenting health care needs and undiagnosed problems and triage.
Successful applicants will be fully qualified GPs with GMC registration and inclusion on the English Medical Performers List. Candidates should also hold evidence of basic life support training and safeguarding children (L3) and adults (L1) training alongside annual appraisal and revalidation evidence. Ideally, applicants will have had experience of participating in Out of Hours telephone consultation.
