Consultant Cardiologist in Heart Failure and Imaging

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Cardiologist in Heart Failure and Imaging. This post is a new post; it is a whole time substantive Consultant Cardiologist in Heart Failure and Imaging at Harefield Hospital, though there is a current locum in post.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of high quality response clinical care for heart failure and patients being seen through the imaging department.
The post holder will provide clinical services in the heart transplant and MCS programme as well as the general heart failure and cardiology service at RBHT.
The post holder will engage in clinical research in heart failure and imaging at a level in keeping with the 5* research rating of the National Heart & Lung Institute.
The post holder will also be expected to demonstrate commitment to training, research especially, but not exclusively in the field of Heart Failure and imaging.
Applicants are required to be fully registered Medical Practitioners and must be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or be eligible for admission to the Register within six months from date of interview for the post.
