Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon with a special interest in Hip Surgery and Arthoplasty
Applications are invited for the above post, which has arisen within one of the country’s largest teaching hospitals. This is a new post within the Lower Limb Arthroplasty Unit.
The orthopaedic department at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest units in the UK. The hospital is also a Major Trauma Centre.
The lower Limb Arthroplasty unit is a regional centre for the management of hip and knee pathology including revision arthroplasty.
The post holder will work alongside colleagues to perform primary and revision hip arthroplasty and have a role on the trauma on call rota. We will also be looking for a candidate to expand and complement the services for hip surgery within the unit.
