The University of Manchester invites applicants for the above post. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic post-holder to join the Faculty.

The post is open to any surgical sub-specialty.  You must have a PhD/MD or equivalent and have undertaken appropriate postgraduate training. You will provide a surgical service base, leadership and management, research and teaching.

Candidates from outside the UK will need to be able to provide evidence of training to equivalence of a UK specialty trainee in Surgical Clinical Trials and would need to register with the General Medical Council. Appointment as an Honorary Consultant will require the candidate to be on a GMC specialist register. Further criteria for the position are listed in the further particulars of the post.
