Lead Consultant Community Paediatrician
An exciting opportunity is now available to be part of a new approach to children’s services in Medway. MCH was awarded the children’s community health contract in June 2018 which brought together 19 children’s community health services.
The successful candidate will lead a small team of paediatricians and will work closely with lead therapists on our neurodevelopment and neurodisability pathways. We offer an innovative approach to the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of disabilities in compliance with NICE guidelines.
Medway is a unitary local authority that has partnership commissioning arrangements with Medway CCG.This ensures that we have close working relationships with all key stakeholders, sharing a passion for improving the local health economy and the post holder will support this by offering expert medical advice.
MCH has a partnership agreement with our local Trust to work to provide post-graduate activities which ensure breadth of experience for on-going professional development and supervision.
