The Galway Clinic, a Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) affiliated teaching hospital, is a leading 153 bed, state of the art independent hospital situated on the outskirts of Galway, Ireland.
The hospital has a wide range of facilities and provides extensive patient services including 6 operating theatres, 2 minor operating theatres, 5 inpatient units, emergency care, daycare, oncology, radiology, radiotherapy, cardiothoracic surgery, robotic surgery, cardiac catheterization laboratory and an 8-bed Intensive Care Unit.
The Clinic is currently recruiting a full-time or part-time Consultant(s) who have completed the appropriate specialized training in Emergency Medicine and has been or is eligible to be entered on the Specialist Division of the Register of the Medical Council, Ireland.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to work as part of a team of Consultants providing patient care within the Galway Clinic’s Emergency Department. Currently the Emergency Department operates 10am to 6pm weekdays and 10am to 5pm at weekends.
