The Trust is committed to providing high quality integrated health and social care for local people with mental health problems in South West London and more specialist mental health services for people throughout the UK.

Locum Consultant Merton CAMHS

Locum Consultant Child Psychiatrist Sutton & Merton CAMHS: for four months in the first instance pending substantive recruitment.

South west London and St George’s Mental Health Trust is pleased to be seeking applicants to work in the Sutton & Merton CAMHS teams, this has come about due to a colleague leaving the Trust and the need to backfill a colleague who is seconded to the newly created Community Forensic CAMHS team within the South London Partnership

The Trust is a leading mental health trust with good links with St Georges Medical and Nursing schools and achieved a “Good” rating at the CQC inspection in2018. CAMHS teams within the Trust have been through a transformation programme which was implemented in September 2014. This transformation programme has involved creating single points of access in each borough to improve tier 2/3 links and focussed on reducing waiting times, early expert assessments, the delivery of evidence based treatments and the creation of two dedicated teams providing care for young people with eating disorder and the neuro-developmental disorder assessment team. All the teams are working as Children and Young people’s IAPT sites, having benefitted from significant investment and training through the Department of Health.

The South London Partnership is a collaboration of three mental health Trusts (SWLStG, SLAM & Oxleas) providing innovative care and service developments including Tier 4 CAMHS through New Care models and Forensic CAMHS.
