The recent devolution of health and social care budgets to Manchester represents an exciting opportunity for Manchester. This post offers the opportunity to become part of a new and innovative health care economy. The Trust recently merged with Saint Mary’s Hospital of Central Manchester on October 1st 2017 making Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is the leading provider of tertiary and specialist healthcare services in Manchester.
This post offers the successful applicant the opportunity to practise Obstetrics and Gynaecology at MFT. This is a permanent post as a non-Resident with General duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to start with immediate effect. The job plan consists of 10 personal activities. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and develop our service. Previous experience at Consultant level is desirable but not essential. Great care has been taken to ensure that there is appropriate access to professional development opportunities. To maximise both the quality of care for women, and the professional development opportunities for consultants, it is expected that the successful candidate will work across two sites. However, it is expected that the will be no need to travel between sites in the same day. A flexible approach will be required of the successful applicant to suit the evolving health care landscape in Manchester.
