Salary: MP Year 1‐2 $191,488 (£105,718*) ‐ $200,344 (£110,607*) p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance) *AUD/GBP conversion as at 02/01/2019 – Source: Oanda
Please note this is for the 2019 Fellow Plastic Surgery (Hand) mid-year intake commencing 5 August 2019.
Work Type: Fixed Term – Full Time
Position Profile: In this role the Fellow will provide direct clinical care to the patients in Hand Surgery at Fremantle Hospital & Health Service. The Fellow will also provide pre-operative review of patients and conduct investigations, provide assistance and operation in the operating theatres under the supervision of a Consultant Surgeon. This role also requires the Fellow to provide teaching and support to Resident Medical Officers and Interns. This role may also participate in On Call duties at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Area Profile: Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
Eligibility to Apply: Successful applicants will have completed SET 5 with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (or equivalent) and be eligible for (or have been awarded) their Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or equivalent.
