Clinical fellow (higher) in Neonatal Medicine & Neonatal Transport
You are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Higher) in Neonatal Transport commencing on the 04 March 2019 for a period of 12-24 months.
The Acute Neonatal Transfer Service for the East of England is one of the busiest teams in the UK.
This post offers comprehensive experience in all aspects of Neonatal Transport Medicine and is suitable for anyone wishing to further develop their skills in this area, including those already in possession of CCT. The training and experience is identical to those of level 3 Specialty Trainees.
Successful candidates will work as part of a busy, dedicated, Neonatal Transport Service which completes over 1200 transfers per year (more than 600 emergency transfers).
In addition to the clinical experience gained, this post is ideal for those wishing to develop their skills in logistical planning, prioritisation and trouble-shooting.
All ANTS doctors are encouraged to undertake quality improvement projects and to develop their teaching skills by involvement in outreach visits and the local education programme and simulation training.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in Neonatology with a good level of procedural skills.
