Consultants in Radiology
You are invited for three Consultant Radiologist posts based at Cambridge University
Hospital with the following interests:
2. Cross Sectional Imaging
3. Cross Sectional Imaging (ideally also with an interest in neck ultrasound)
We are looking for three motivated and enthusiastic radiologists to join our radiology team, of 52 consultants, both NHS and University based, and 32 StR’s. We have a close working relationship with a wide range of subspecialties and are actively involved in multidisciplinary clinical, research and educational activities. The Imaging Directorate is ISAS accredited and the Trust is a Major Cancer Centre and a Major Trauma Centre.
You will join a strong multidisciplinary team and provide specialist and general (where appropriate) support to the workload of the department. The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art machines including: 5 Siemens CT scanners, 1 PET-CT scanner, 6 GE MRI scanners, an ultrasound suite with 8 Toshiba US machines, 3 interventional radiology suites. A PET-MR has also been installed.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Radiology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
You must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013).
