Liverpool Clinical Laboratories (LCL) was formed in 2013 as a multidisciplinary NHS pathology service, jointly owned by the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals and University Hospital Aintree, delivering a high quality service to the two Trusts and community services in Liverpool. The posts will be based at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, with the possibility of cross-site working depending on specialist interests. The Department provides undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and there are close links with academic pathology in the University of Liverpool. Any candidate who is unable to work full time for personal reasons will be eligible to be considered for the post.
