We are looking to appoint 4 outstanding Consultant Paediatricians with a view to expand Consultant strength to a total of 21 General Paediatricians and 8 Neonatologists to deliver high quality child health services at University Hospitals of Birmingham from 2 inpatient sites at Heartlands and Good Hope Hospitals.

One of the posts will need expertise in paediatric diabetes and endocrinology. For other posts, applications are welcomed from candidates with any sub-speciality interests that match the needs of the department. All appointees will be required to work across all Trust sites, with out of hours duties primarily at the Heartlands site for 3 of the posts and at Good Hope for 1 post. The posts carry 10 programmed activities (PAs). Working in Paediatric Directorate at University Hospitals of Birmingham provides excellent environment to practice your acquired knowledge and skills to delivering high quality clinical care for children of all ages.
