Forward Thinking Birmingham is an innovative community and in-patient mental health service delivering a pathway of care for 0-25 year olds led by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust . We are the first of its kind nationally. You will be working closely with our key partners The Priory group, SimplifyHealth [previously Beacon UK] and The Children’s Society where together we have an ambition to deliver an outstanding model of mental health care, tailored to the needs of children, young people, young adults and their families.

Through a single point of access for GPs, schools, local authorities, children, young people, young adults and families across our city, our service offers a number of things from flexible community and home-based support, to in-patient and urgent care.

As well as joining our medical team, opportunities are also available to take up additional formal medical management, service development, research and under/post-graduate teaching duties. Our range of specialist services with links to the Institute for Mental Health at University of Birmingham, and our commitment to professional development, will provide you with plenty of opportunities to diversify your skills and be part of a vibrant peer group in this unique and exciting service. Generous relocation packages are available.
