You are invited for two consultant anaesthetist positions at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The two posts are for general paediatric anaesthesia, providing specialist paediatric anaesthesia to support all activity except cardiac theatres.
Both posts are for 10 PAs and have a 1:20 on-call commitment. The specialty is currently led by Dr. Reema Nandi and the department consists of 42 consultants and 30 post-fellowship registrars and fellows.
You will be on the General Medical Council's specialist register for Anaesthetics (CCT or equivalent), or within 6 months of award of CCT by date of interview. You will have completed (or be within 6 months of completion of) recognised paediatric anaesthesia training programme or have equivalent experience.
Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is a postgraduate teaching hospital, linked with the Institute of Child Health (ICH). The Trust had 318 beds and provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties for tertiary level care. The patient population consists of well over 192,828 admissions or outpatient appointments per year.

The basic salary range for this post is £77,913 to £105,042 pro rata, per annum plus £2,162 pro rata, per annum London Weighting.
