Consultant Obstetrician & Urogynaecologist 

The services at in the Women’s Health department at Ashford & St Peters Hospital are developing and we are delighted to be recruiting a new substantive consultant in Uroynaecology and Obstetrics to join with an established multi-disciplinary team to develop high quality services over North West Surrey and beyond.

The department is developing rapidly and it is expected that the successful candidate will be responsible for developing the perineal clinic, outpatient urogynaecology and to develop their own tertiary level interest that will complement the departments aims and objectives as well as those of surrounding hospitals.

Candidates must have full GMC registration, have CCT (or be within 6 months of obtaining it), be on the specialist register. They must also have a thorough experience of working in a specialist multidisciplinary urogynaecology unit including a specialist perineal clinic and be keen and willing to partake in the Obstetrics on call and cover (non-resident).

The post attracts 10 PAs in an 8:2 split and includes a 1 in 10 non-resident on call rota and a 1 in 10 consultant of the week duty. We pay particular attention to work-life balance and the job plan reflects this. Applicants wishing to work part time will also be considered
