Consultant Medical Oncologist with Special Interest in Sarcoma and Germ Cell
The Oncology team at NUH are looking for a new colleague to join their internationally renowned, forward thinking service. We are keen to appoint a substantive consultant medical oncologist with expertise in Sarcoma and Germ Cell Tumours to join our team of 23 consultant oncologists.
The post will be based at the City Campus. The successful candidate will join well established and close working multi-disciplinary team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Advanced Pharmacy Practitioners, Ward and Day Case colleagues.
As well as offering a varied and stimulating workload, this role can also cater to individual interests such as teaching, educational supervision, research and leadership roles within the specialty.
The Department has a very active clinical trials programme with a dedicated research team for academic, NCRN and industry lead studies as well as integral working with the NCRN research team.
Candidates need to be on the GMC specialist register or within six months of your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
