Consultant in Orthodontics
The Orthodontic service is looking to recruit a forward thinking and dynamic consultant orthodontist to join the existing consultant colleagues.
Applications are invited for this 8 PA programmed activity (with options for increasing this or part-time considerations) post based at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, part of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
The Orthodontic Department forms a part of the Regional Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department. This is the regional hub for spoke sites at Hillingdon, Watford and Wexham Park Hospitals serving a large population.
The post consists of a combination of personal treatment, diagnostic and multi-disciplinary sessions. Aspects of the post will involve supervision and training of specialist trainee registrars and post CCST on rotation from The Royal London Hospital. There is a close working relationship with maxillofacial surgeons allowing for weekly orthognathic clinics. A restorative specialist provides a diagnostic and advisory service for joint hypodontia-restorative clinics held monthly.
