Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director for Crisis Care Pathway

They have undergone transformative changes over the past four years with redesigned admission and crisis care pathways, newly developed recovery-focused community mental health teams and expanded primary mental healthcare and liaison services.
Strong clinical leadership and an embedded culture of continuous
improvement and meaningful patient involvement are helping us to
improve care outcomes and staff satisfaction and ELFT has developed
a third Clinical Director role working across the Bedfordshire and Luton Mental Health Directorates, within our Crisis Care Pathway.
This post is configured with five clinical sessions in Liaison Psychiatry
and five sessions devoted to the Clinical Director role. You will work
closely with our operational lead for Countywide Crisis Care services
in leading Psychiatric Liaison Services, Court Liaison and Diversion,
Mental Health Street Triage and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment
Services across Bedfordshire and Luton.
In addition, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our new
countywide Wave 2 Perinatal Mental Health Service, helping us in our
strategy to improving population health.
