Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital has 159 beds and is the major centre for orthopaedic surgery in Ireland.  The Hospital is a tertiary referral centre for the treatment of complex orthopaedic problems including joint replacement surgery, revision joint surgery, foot and upper limb surgery, primary bone tumours, spinal surgery, sports injuries and paediatric orthopaedic surgery covered by a total of 26 Orthopaedic Surgeons.  This position will be under the supervision of Prof. John O’Byrne, Abraham Colles Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.

FELLOWSHIP in LOWER LIMB ARTHROPLASTY

(POST CCT)

Commencing July 2019

12 Month Contract

This position would ideally suit candidates who have completed their CCT training and are seeking further international experience in respect of lower limb arthroplasty surgery prior to applying for Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon positions.
