A requirement for a Consultant Urologist has arisen within Yeovil District Hospital NHS Trust.

The post represents an exciting opportunity to join a cohort of enthusiastic Urology professionals who are supported by high quality colleagues in a full spectrum of allied specialties. 

The appointee would join the Urology team in delivering a modern high quality urology service which is responsive to patients and through an integrated service at primary care level will improve Health outcomes.

You must be registered with the GMC on the Specialist Register (or within 6 months of gaining entry onto), willing to participate as part of the on-call rota and involved in Teaching and Clinical Governance provision.

Should applicants be currently or recently employed as a Consultant or Locum Consultant, we reserve the right to request a reference from the Medical Director of any previous or current employing organisation.

The appointment will be on the basis of the new consultant contract laid down by the Hospital Medical and Dental Staff Terms and Conditions of Service and will be remunerated as appropriate on the salary scale £76,001 to £102,465 per annum.
