The Anatomical Pathology Laboratory in Whangarei Hospital provides a Histology and non-gynae cytology service for Northland. We receive specimens from both the community and four Northland hospitals; servicing a population of 150,000. We have a state of the art mortuary and provide medical and coronial post-mortems for the region.
