Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this role will play a critical part in the future of the Trust, with particular focus on Medical and Dental leadership, research and development, medical education, health care governance and informatics.
We are looking for an outstanding leader to champion the development of integrated health and social care services focused on the distinct needs of patients. With this in mind, we are seeking to appoint a Medical Director who will inspire and drive the redesign and modernisation agenda.
The successful candidate will have a track record of strong leadership at a senior level, they will have ability to drive through change in a challenging financial climate as well as the necessary skills to build lasting and effective relationships with key stakeholders. Above all it is essential that the candidate can demonstrate a passion and a commitment to continually seek to improve patient care through quality standards and innovation in the most complex of environments.
