Consultant in Respiratory & General Medicine with a specialist interest in asthma and COPD
This is a full-time post that provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic physician with an interest in respiratory medicine to provide services at St George’s Hospital. You will join a group of 10 other consultants affiliated to the respiratory department at St George’s. In addition to respiratory inpatient work on a one week in seven basis, the individual will contribute to the delivery of an asthma biologics, COPD and general respiratory services at St George’s Hospital.
St George’s is one of the major teaching hospitals in London with a busy secondary and tertiary service for respiratory diseases. The Trust offers a large number of specialised tertiary services (including thoracic surgery), as well as providing local acute services.
Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register in G(I)M and Respiratory Medicine or within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of the interview. The post is whole time, but we welcome applications from those wishing to work part time.
