Salary to be determined with due regard to the transitional arrangements relating to the 2016 contract for doctors and dentists in training (if applicable) Indicative scales; 2016 scale for doctors and dentists in training; £26,614 to £46,208 per annum (plus pay premia, where eligible)
Post-2009 Clinical Lecturer scale;
£32,478 to £57,444 per annum

We are seeking a Clinical Lecturer based at the University and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital Trust, interested in pursuing a career in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics (CPT). You will join a highly research-active department whilst continuing clinical training at Specialist Registrar level which will lead to dual accreditation in CPT and GIM. Please note on call banding has not yet been agreed. You will have clinical experience at Specialty Registrar level, including core training. This post is designed for trainees who can demonstrate outstanding potential for development as a clinical academic.

The post is available for 4 years, or until CCT.

Applicants must have been awarded their PhD by the interview date and must be in a position to take up the post before the 31 March 2019.
