Consultant Paediatrician with an Interest in Diabetes

Applications are invited for a Consultant Paediatrician with an Interest
in Diabetes at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join a team of 9 Consultants based at Leighton Hospital in Crewe. The Consultant paediatric team provide a 1:8 on-call, 1:8 paediatric “hot week” and 1:8 neonatal “hot week”. This post is a replacement post within a well-developed and high quality specialist paediatric diabetes service.
The Paediatric department provides a comprehensive local general paediatric service with a dedicated children’s clinic, children’s ward and local neonatal unit. The neonatal Unit was fully modernised in 2014 and the children’s ward is currently being refurbished and modernised. We are well supported by other specialties within the Trust and clinical networks. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our forward thinking and dedicated
team to enhance the service for the children and families of Vale Royal and
Applicants must have full registration with the GMC including a License to
Practice, and be on the Specialist Register (or be within six months of
obtaining their Certificate of Completion of Training).
