16 PAs and 6% on call availability supplement
Total 16 PA salary including on call and 6% intensity supplement: £74,514 - £136,038

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Grade doctor to join a surgical team consisting of three Consultants, two Associate Specialists, 2 Staff Grades (including this post) and four Junior Doctors (3 FY2s and 1 FY2). Duties will include General Surgical 1:4 on-call, operating lists, outpatient clinics and day-to-day care of in-patients. While most of the work is general surgery you will have the opportunity to take part in minimally invasive colorectal surgery with state of the art systems lead by an EBSQ qualified consultant, reconstructive breast surgery, and advanced vascular surgery caring for a population of just over 100,00. You will be encouraged to fully develop specialty skills and research interests in a very friendly and relaxed environment.

Under Jersey Law, applicants must possess FULL registration with the General Medical Council and hold a licence to practise.

As this position will work with vulnerable people, the selection process will involve safeguarding measures and include an enhanced DBS check.
