Bon Secours Hospital Dublin is a private, acute-care facility known for the quality of its service provision. It was the first hospital in Ireland to receive Joint Commission International Accreditation and comprises 150 beds, 3 major & 2 minor operating theatres, one of the largest endoscopy units in Ireland and a comprehensive range of diagnostic, treatment and support services. The Hospital provides care for almost 26,000 patients per annum across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. Over 100 Consultants have practice privileges at the Hospital. The histopathology laboratory handles in excess of 14,000 cases per year and is currently INAB accredited and accredited to ISO15189.
The Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Histopathologists to be part of our team delivering laboratory services, either on a full time or substantial part time basis. Eligible candidates who wish to be considered for practice privileges at the hospital should either work in private practice or hold an appropriate public contract or be eligible to apply for same.
Applicants must possess:
- Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council in the division of histopathology (or entitlement to be so registered)
- FRCPath in histopathology or an equivalent qualification
