Consultant Urogynecologist and Obstetrician
Substantive full time 11 PA Contract
Applicants are invited for this progressive senior role working within an established multidisciplinary team to deliver a breadth of urogynaecology diagnostic, medical and surgical services across East Dorset.
This is an exciting time to join the region, as following the outcome of a comprehensive Clinical Service Review, it’s undergoing significant re-structuring. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will play an active role in driving forward service development, expanding the provision of ambulatory urogynaecology procedures and consolidating perinatal perineal and OASIS management.
The successful candidate will have gained experience in delivering patient-centred care through placements in variety of university and community hospital settings. In addition to a training pedigree in multidisciplinary pelvic floor medicine they will need to demonstrate on ongoing commitment to supporting the maternity service and a passion for medical education.
This is a newly created substantive post consisting of 9.0 DCC + 2.0 SPA. There is a resident on call component to the job plan.
