An opportunity to help optimise the health, independence and quality of life of a unique and inspirational group of beneficiaries living with Thalidomide damage.
We are currently looking for a clinical professional to join our small, skill-based Board. You will be an energetic individual with broad clinical knowledge, current or recent experience in a patient-facing role in the NHS, and a good understanding of health policy and practice and the interface between health and social care.
You important role will be to help the charity achieve its vision - and ensure that we are delivering the best possible services and support to enable our beneficiaries to optimise their health, independence and quality of life.
You will be required to attend three full-day Directors' meetings and at last two half-day Committee meetings each year in Central London. As well as contributing to broader organisational governance, you will help shape the health & wellbeing support we offer to our beneficiaries and/or play an active role in our new claims process.
This is an opportunity to utilise your clinical knowledge and understanding of health policy and practice to improve the lives of a small group of individuals with complex needs. In return, we offer the opportunity to work with a unique, forward-looking organisation and interact with an inspiring community of beneficiaries.
