We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and talented clinician to join our team here at Wye Valley Trust as part of our Plastic Surgery service.  We currently have a close affiliation with University Hospital Birmingham, who provide surgical cover to our hospital to deliver  plastic surgery. However the Trust are looking to establish a locally delivered service to provide a more sustainable service.

We are looking for a surgeon to deliver 6 PA’s per week at Hereford. For the right candidate, there will be flexibility applied to how this could be delivered. We would also consider a job share if required.

We provide surgical sessions and outpatient clinics on site at Hereford County Hospital. Supervision will continue to be provided by University Hospital Birmingham.

The successful candidate would be supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams.

Wye Valley Trust is always looking to improve services, and provides an environment where clinicians are supported and encouraged to try different ways of working to improve patient outcomes.

Wye Valley Trust services the whole of Herefordshire and portions of Shropshire, Gloucestershire and Powys, Wales. The County Hospital is a District General Hospital located in the city of Hereford. There are 3 community hospitals providing rehabilitation and step-down care. All major medical and surgical specialties, with full diagnostic services, are provided on site, with close links to regional centres.
