Applications are invited for a post as Trust Fellow in Cross-sectional (MRI & CT) Cardiovascular Imaging, based at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. This post is fixed term, of one year duration, and is suitable for a person with senior training in either Paediatric cardiology, adult cardiology with an interest in grown-up congenital heart disease, or radiology.

The post-holder will gain a year of expert training and clinical experience in the cross-sectional imaging (MRI & CT) of Paediatric & adult congenital heart disease and Paediatric acquired heart disease, in one of leading cardiovascular imaging centers in the world.  There is no on-call commitment.

The Cardiorespiratory Division of Great Ormond Street Hospital is an exciting and innovative Unit that aspires to the highest possible quality of care. The Unit provides a complete spectrum of medical and surgical services for children with congenital and acquired heart disease, as well as specialist activity in pulmonary hypertension, extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation, tracheal service, thoracic surgery, chest wall reconstruction and heart and heart-lung transplantation.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the GMC.  MRCP/MRCPCH/FRCR (or equivalent) is essential for the post. Where equivalent qualifications or experience is being offered, it is essential that the candidate can provide written confirmation of this.
