Following recent retirement and an expansion of our service, applications are invited for Substantive Consultant Radiologists who have a specific interest in Gynaecology, Breast and Lung. The appointed candidate(s) would be expected to participate in all areas of general radiology but would have designated sessions related to areas of specialism. Participation in weekend working and on call will be required.
The department currently provide in excess of 230,000 exams per year to include plain film, CT, MRI, General and Obstetric Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Interventional Radiology and Catheter Laboratory activity across four hospital sites Warwick, Stratford, Leamington and Shipston on Stour. The team provide weekly MDT tumour site support for Lung, Breast, Gynae, Haem, Urology, UPGI and LOGI. We have also recently opened a new MRI unit in Stratford and have a second CT scanner being installed in Warwick in September 2018.

The Radiology Department is a forward thinking innovative service with approximately 13 Consultant Radiologists, and 50 Radiographers, of various bands, and are in the process of appointing into our Radiology CESR Programme (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) and Consultant Radiographer posts.
