Applications are invited for one full time substantive Ophthalmology Consultant position specialising in Cornea. Applicants must be fully registered with the General Medical Council or within six months of being admitted to the Register

We are looking to appoint innovative and high performing individuals to join our team of Consultants. We are an enthusiastic department keen to encourage personal and professional development. This is an excellent opportunity to join a department that has undergone significant investment and post-holders will be given the necessary support to develop their service. 

The department has theatre facilities at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary (Huddersfield), Calderdale Royal Hospital (Halifax), and outpatient facilities at 3 sites: Huddersfield Royal Infirmary (Huddersfield), Calderdale Royal Hospital (Halifax), and Todmorden Health Centre (Todmorden). The post holder will be expected to undertake sessions at both Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital and will be required to participate in the General Ophthalmology on call service.

Full General Medical Council registration is essential for this post as is Licence to Practice.
